titleNavigating within a course

Navigating within a course

The SUNLearn course page is divided into three main columns

The left side column including a set of individual blocks such as Navigation and Administration. Navigation is used to move between courses.

Administration is used for you to look at your Grades.

The main central column, is the primary course content area where you will find your study material, notes and all information you need to work on to complete the course.

The right side column including other sets of individual blocks as added by the lecturer.

Courses will not always have the same Blocks available.

The main central column can be organised using a list layout or card layout, which will contain various learning material such as Learner Guides, Notes, Quizzes or Assignments.

In list view course layout, you can access content by clicking the link of the specific resource and/or activity. For example, to view and complete a quiz, you will click the quiz link at the course homepage. The link will take you to the quiz page.

In card view course layout, you can access content by clicking the ‘view’ link of the specific resource and/or activity.

Docking and undocking Blocks
